ZeroFly® Screen

ZeroFly® Screen

ZeroFly® Screen is the first insecticide-incorporated screen that keeps livestock healthy and productive by reducing the impact of nuisance and biting flies, such as tsetse flies, which are the vector of trypanosomiasis (also called sleeping sickness or Nagana). It contributes to Eradication of Extreme Poverty & Hunger (MDG 1) and to Environmental Sustainability (MDG 7).

ZeroFly® Storage Bag

ZeroFly® Storage Bag

ZeroFly® Storage Bag is the first available insecticide-incorporated storage bag to prevent damaging pest infestations. It reduces the loss of seed or grains that can be consumed, stored for security, or sold for optimized prices, while not having any of the hazards associated with fumigation or the potential for pesticide residues that come from inaccurate insecticide spraying.

Research

Vestergaard S.A. primarily funds specific projects with specific outcomes. The grantee’s budget for each research agreement should reflect all of the expenses that are required for, and can be tracked directly to, the research project (i.e., direct costs). Vestergaard S.A. allows indirect costs up to 10 percent of the total project costs. For example, for project costs totaling $100,000 - up to $10,000 can be used for indirect costs and the remaining $90,000 can be applied toward project direct expenses. We understand that the indirect cost rates may not cover all of a grantee’s general operating costs, and grantees may need to use other resources to cover these costs.
